Oli Weatherly

Oli Weatherly is an actor, clown, writer, and deviser. He is the founder of Eee! and also a born mischief maker.  In 2014-15, he trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, Paris.

He is an associate artist for London based theatre company Mouths of Lions, which specialises in family theatre and clowning.

Oli is part of the clown project, ‘That’s Not funny’, which has produced theatre to raise awareness and fundraising for Mental Health Charities in London.

He recently played a lead role as The Beast in a 4 month run of the sell-out immersive dining show, “Beauty and the Feast”, in The Vaults in Waterloo, London.

He enjoyed a sold out run of his debut solo show ‘Stick or Wizard?’ at the Wandsworth Fringe in 2018, winning the Audience Choice Award for Stage Door London ‘18.

Oli has recently returned from a quixotic and everything-affirming tour of Canada (2019), taking ‘Stick or Wizard?’ far and wide, and collecting a number of awards for his troubles (not that trouble had anything to do with it).

In 2020, he will return to Wandsworth with his new offering, ‘Barry’s House’; and he will return to Canada to introduce The Wizard to the West Coast. It’s gonna be a cracker!

Prior to becoming an actor and wizard, Oli was a secondary school History teacher in south London for 8 years; before discovering theatre and training with renowned clown master Philippe Gaulier for 2 years in France.

Oli (aka The Tea Baron) can often be found making a fine cup of ‘The Earl’, convening with Santa, and rampaging around South London with his best mate and super whippet, Tilly.

He has a wonderful, supportive famileee and an amazing family of friends, without whom none of this would be possible.  They help him to remember that there are no limits!
